| FORTHCOMING EVENT ... Breakfast |
|
ACTSA in conjunction with the Institute Of Directors (IOD) are proud to present the following Breakfast: |
| Downturns, Disinflation And Deleveraging -- The Impact On South Africa |
| |
|
What are the implications of the global recession for SA? Join us as we take a look at how the world's financial crisis has challenged the outlook for emerging countries and also challenged perceived "self-evident truths" in the past few quarters.
With specific focus on South Africa, we try to ascertain the likely depth and length of the current downturn, as well as the nature of the economic recovery we can expect in a changing global environment. What "lessons" can we heed for the future -- in particular, what "warning bells" should we look for next time. |
